The Republican Central Securities Depository has finalized a set of organizational and technical measures to connect to the WEB-cabinets of depository and clearing services and of corporate actions of the National Settlement Depository (NSD, Russia), which are part of the main System of Electronic Data Interchange of NSD (EDI System). It was done within the development of correspondent relations with the central securities depositories of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states.
For reference. WEB-cabinets of NSD represent a web-application with a user interface for exchanging messages on asset management of NSD's depositors. The functionality of NSD's WEB-cabinets enables the user to enter and process e-flow in the application's interface. The application allows you to create and send depository orders, receive reports and notifications within the framework of depository and clearing activities, use the procedures for e-flow transit through the EDI System of NSD. Transit of e-flow allows you to exchange electronic documents with any participant of the transit of NSD`s EDI System. In terms of corporate actions, it is possible to interact with holders of securities, nominee holders of securities by exchanging e-flow.
Connecting the Central Securities Depository of the Republic of Belarus to the system of WEB-cabinets of NSD will allow prompt and reliable management of the correspondent account of the Central Securities Depository of the Republic of Belarus with NSD. It will create a high-tech mechanism for cross-border movement of securities between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, it being within the context of the formation of the common financial market of the EAEU member states.
