RUE «RCSD» took part in the XII International Conference of the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories
On September 10-11, 2015 the XII International Conference of the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD) on “Securities Market Regulation: Current Developments and Prospects” and the annual general meeting of the members of the AECSD were held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Director of RUE "RCSD" Valentina Timoshenko took part in the conference and round table discussions on following topics: "Strategic development priorities of AECSD and its members – central securities depositories on 2016-2018", "Prospects of increasing cross-border transactions between the markets of CIS countries", "Information disclosures in the CIS markets: Developments and Prospects".
The AECSD conference brought together representatives from central depositories of the CIS countries, and the central depositories of Turkey and Greece, as well as Euroclear Bank, Clearstream Banking S.A., ANNA, SWIFT.
In the course of the annual general meeting new members joined the AECSD: Turkey’s Central Securities Depository – Merkezi Kayit Kurulusu A.S. (MKK) and Indian central securities depositories – Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL) and National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL); Clearstream Banking and INFINITUM A.S. (Russia, Moscow) accepted as observer members of the AECSD.
